(Baonghean.vn) - Nghe An Provincial People's Committee requested Ho Chi Minh City (HCMC) to direct relevant agencies and localities to review and compile a list of Nghe An citizens residing in the area who want to return to their hometown.
On the morning of July 20, the People's Committee of Nghe An province sent a document to Ho Chi Minh City regarding support and creating favorable conditions for citizens of Nghe An province living and working in this city.
Accordingly, the People's Committee of Nghe An province requested the People's Committee of Ho Chi Minh City to create the most favorable conditions for Nghe An citizens residing in the area in terms of living conditions, employment, food and accommodation during the period of social distancing; direct functional branches and localities to review and compile a list of Nghe An citizens residing and working in the area who really need to return to their hometowns; assign a focal unit to coordinate with Nghe An province to develop a detailed plan to bring and receive citizens back to their hometowns.

"Nghe An Provincial People's Committee is ready to create favorable conditions to support Nghe An citizens who are working, living and studying to return to their hometowns (if needed), and has assigned the Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs to directly coordinate in welcoming citizens back," the document of Nghe An Provincial People's Committee stated.
In addition, the People's Committee of Nghe An province also requested the Nghe An Business Association and the Nghe An Association in Ho Chi Minh City to coordinate in supporting the people and the business community to overcome difficulties during this period. At the same time, collect a list of citizens who really need to return to their hometown.
