Nghe An plans online teaching for the whole province after the opening day

Immediately after implementing the online teaching plan,Department of Education and Traininghas also issued a document guiding online teaching for all levels of education. The main purpose is to help students implement the 2021-2022 school year curriculum during the school break to prevent Covid-19 with the motto "temporarily stop going to school, not stop learning".

According to the plan, online teaching content will be carried out according toGeneral education program2018 for grades 1, 2 and 6; General Education Program 2006 for the remaining grades. Schools will organize teaching of compulsory subjects and educational activities to ensure completion of the content specified in the program. Particularly for grade 1, priority will be given to Vietnamese and Math.

For effective implementation, the head of the general education institution, based on the actual situation of his/her unit, decides to choose appropriate forms of online teaching and learning at the general education institution during the time when students are not at school to study due to force majeure.

For students who are not able to participate in online learning activities, the head of the educational institution must review the list, develop a teaching plan, promptly propose organizational solutions suitable to the actual situation of the school and the conditions for Covid-19 epidemic prevention, ensuring that no student is unable to study/complete the program until the end of the school year.

During the online teaching process, online students perform the following main activities: attending online classes organized by teachers; performing learning activities and testing and evaluation as required by teachers; exploiting learning content from online teaching materials; asking and answering questions to teachers and other students.

As for teachers organizing online classes, in addition to lecturing and guiding students in their studies, they also assign learning tasks and test and evaluate students' learning outcomes; monitor and support students in exploiting learning content from online teaching materials; advise, support, answer questions and resolve students' concerns.

Regular testing and evaluation of students' online learning outcomes is carried out during the teaching and learning process.

In case a student cannot come to the general education institution at the time of periodic testing and assessment due to force majeure, the organization of periodic testing and assessment shall be carried out online; the head of the general education institution shall decide on the form of periodic testing and assessment according to the regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training, ensuring that the testing and assessment are accurate, fair, objective and honest.

To meet the learning needs of students and to immediately maximize the use of an online learning device for many students in a family, ensuring smooth access to the software, avoiding the situation where too many accounts access the same system at the same time, affecting the speed and quality of the transmission line, the Department of Education and Training has also agreed to divide study time for all levels.

Specifically:

+For elementary level: from 5pm to 9pm daily, except for Saturdays and Sundays, classes can be held at other times after agreement with parents.

+For secondary school level: from 7am to 12pm daily.

+For high school level: from 13:00 to 17:00 and after 21:00 every day.
