(Baonghean.vn) - In recent days, the police of various units and localities in Nghe An province have continuously discovered and caught many subjects possessing firecrackers.
On the afternoon of October 27, a working group of the Provincial Traffic Police Department patrolled and controlled National Highway 7 in Lo village, Xa Luong commune, Tuong Duong district, and discovered a CNHTC tractor with license plate 29C-450.60 pulling a DOOSUNG semi-trailer with license plate 29R-506.19, driven by Nguyen Van An (born in 1993), residing in hamlet 10, Nghi Thuan commune, Nghi Loc district.

The working group discovered that in the driver's cabin of the tractor-trailer, the driver was storing 6cannon block36 shells, 2 firecrackers and 1 package of firecrackers, total weight 10.2 kg. The driver confessed to buying the above firecrackers at a market abroad and then bringing them back to use. The working group drew up a record of the crime and handed over the case to Tuong Duong District Police for handling according to the law.
Previously, on the evening of October 26, a working group from the Dien Chau Traffic Police Station, under the Provincial Traffic Police Department, coordinated with the Cua Lo Town Police to patrol and control, ensuring security and order on the road along the Lam River. When arriving at the landfill area in Hai Nam block, Nghi Hai ward, Cua Lo town, the working group discovered a young man riding a motorbike with license plate 37S1-075.92, with a cardboard box clamped in front of the rack, showing many suspicious signs. Conducting an administrative inspection, when the young man opened the cardboard box, he discovered inside were 10 cube-shaped boxes, in many colors, with foreign writing (suspected to be firecrackers).

Immediately, the subject was invited to the Cua Lo Town Police Station for questioning. Here, the young man confessed that he was Vo Van Khanh (born in 1995), residing in Hai Nam block, Nghi Hai ward, Cua Lo town. The 10 cube-shaped boxes mentioned above were firecrackers that Khanh bought to use during Tet.
Currently, the Investigation Police Agency of Cua Lo Town Police has decided to temporarily detain Vo Van Khanh to investigate the act of storing prohibited goods.
