In 2021, the complicated and unpredictable developments of the Covid-19 pandemic have significantly affected the activities of the Party Committee and the sector. However, with the spirit of solidarity, efforts and unity of the Party Committee and all Party members; the attention and leadership of the Ministry of Education and Training, the Provincial Party Committee, the Provincial People's Committee, the Party Committee of the Provincial Agencies and the close and regular coordination of sectors and levels, the Party Committee of the Department of Education and Training has achieved many outstanding results.

In particular, the Party Committee has directed the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, and People's Committee to issue 04 resolutions, 02 directives, and many breakthrough decisions and plans in the field of education.

Under the direction of the Party Committee, the entire sector has successfully completed professional tasks such as successfully organizing the Provincial Competitions for Excellent Homeroom Teachers and Excellent Teachers at the preschool level, well organizing the entrance exams for grade 10 of high school and Phan Boi Chau Specialized High School for the 2021-2022 school year; the 2021 High School Graduation Exam in the province, ensuring safety, seriousness, and compliance with regulations in the context of complicated epidemic developments. The entire sector has also focused on effectively implementing the goals and targets of the Party Congresses at all levels in the field of education and training.

With efforts, last year, Nghe An continued to maintain its leading position nationwide in excellent students; the quality of comprehensive education was gradually improved. Nghe An students won 05 international and regional medals, ranking 2nd after Hanoi; 81/102 students won prizes.excellent studentnational, ranked 5th nationwide.

Many students won high prizes at the National Youth Informatics Competition and the Youth Competition to Study and Follow Ho Chi Minh's Thought, Morality and Style in 2021.

Speaking at the conference, comrade Chu Ba Long - Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the Provincial Agencies Bloc highly appreciated the efforts of the Party Committee of the Department of Education and Training. In particular, in the past year, the whole sector responded flexibly, proactively managed, and with determination and courage had a successful school year.

Entering 2022, comrade Chu Ba Long suggested that the whole industry needs to continue to promote propaganda work to raise awareness in disease prevention and organize safe teaching and learning.

In addition, it is necessary to continue to effectively implement the resolutions of the Party Congresses at all levels and the Party Congress of the Department, focusing on the tasks and breakthroughs. Based on the achieved results, it is necessary to draw lessons and evaluate for effective implementation.

The sector also needs to continue to conduct research to develop specific policies for the sector, focusing on facilities and policies for specific regions, to take good care of the lives of teachers and education in mountainous areas. At the same time, it is necessary to continue to do a good job of administrative reform, digitalization in teaching, testing, evaluation, library activities, scientific research, planning and rearranging schools and classrooms, etc.

In addition, it is necessary to pay attention to the quality of Party activities, pay attention to ideological activities to expand democracy, organize more thematic activities, and improve the quality of Party activities.

This time, authorized by the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee, Comrade Chu Ba Long presented the Certificate of Merit of Nghe An Provincial Party Committee to the Party Committee of the Department of Education and Training for its outstanding achievements in leading, directing, advising on the implementation of Resolution No. 04-NQ/TW on strengthening Party building and rectification; preventing and repelling ideological, political, moral, lifestyle degradation, and manifestations of "self-evolution" and "self-transformation" within the Party.
