In Nghe An province, there are currently 1,500 establishments trading in fertilizers, pesticides, and plant varieties; the number of units producing and supplying fertilizers as well as types of pesticides circulating on the market, and the volume of fertilizers used annually on main crops is very large.
The whole province has 305 veterinary medicine trading establishments with more than 1,000 types of drugs allowed to circulate.

The province has about 23,748 establishments producing and trading agricultural, forestry and fishery products. Of which, the provincial level manages 2,144 establishments; the district and commune levels manage 21,604 establishments, which are establishments subject to food safety commitments according to regulations.
At the conference, delegates pointed out some shortcomings that still exist today. The situation of poor quality food, not ensuring food safety and hygiene still exists; The slaughter of livestock and poultry still has many shortcomings; Post-harvest processing and preservation activities still have many limitations...
