Mr. Ho Van Thuan said that while he and his brother Ho Van Luan were exploiting seafood in the Quynh Long sea area, they caught a sea turtle with characteristics of a dark yellow shell, wood grain, and milky white belly.
He then planned to release the turtle back into the sea to preserve this rare and endangered species. However, he was afraid that if he released it now, it might be caught by another boat. Therefore, he decided to turn the vehicle back to bring the turtle to shore for temporary protection and care.
