Nghe An: Man went to catch snails, was swept away by the waves
(Baonghean.vn) - Taking advantage of the free time, Mr. Chien and many people from Nghi Tien commune (Nghi Loc) went to the rocky beach by the sea to catch snails. Because he went too far from shore and encountered big waves, he was swept away by the sea water.
After searching efforts, this morning (February 27), authorities and local people recovered the victim's body.

Before that, at 2:00 p.m. on February 26, taking advantage of the low tide, Mr. Ho Viet Chien, 58 years old, residing in Hamlet 6, Nghi Tien Commune, and many local people went to the rocky beach in the Hai Don area to catch snails. Late in the afternoon, his family did not see Mr. Chien return home so they went looking for him.

At the rocky beach, the family discovered Mr. Chien's motorbike and clothes still on the shore. Assuming that Mr. Chien had been swept away by the waves, the Nghi Tien commune authorities urgently mobilized police officers, village captains to coordinate with the family to search for the victim.

At around 9:20 a.m. on February 27, while deploying boats and divers to search for Mr. Chien, people discovered the victim's body floating on the rocks in the area.
After finding the body, Nghi Tien commune authorities visited and encouraged the victim's family and relatives and organized the burial of the victim's body according to local customs./.
