| Currently, Vinh City is a pioneer in organizing swimming lessons in schools. However, making swimming a compulsory subject has only been implemented in a few non-public or private schools. At Viet Anh Primary School, starting in early April, students from grades 1 to 5 will be taught swimming twice a week during physical education class. For first-grade students, the first few lessons getting acquainted with water caused some anxiety. To ensure safety, the school has to assign two swimming instructors and the homeroom teacher to directly guide and encourage the children. | Since the end of April, the swimming pool has been the training ground for all students in the school. Given the specific needs of high school students, the school has allocated a month for them to practice independently. The school plans to conduct a class assessment on May 25th. Students who are not yet proficient will receive intensive training during the summer. After the swimming pool was completed, Nghi Loc 2 High School aims for all students to be able to swim proficiently by the end of the next school year. In addition to organizing swimming lessons for students within the school, former students also hope the pool will be used to teach swimming to students throughout the region.
