Nghe An is a mountainous province with complex terrain and dense rivers and streams. Almost every year, dozens of people drown, are swept away by floods, or have difficulty transporting agricultural products and traffic, with dangers lurking on the trees.temporary bridgeAlthough Nghe An has made efforts to allocate funds to build bridges to make people's lives more convenient, due to the huge demand, there are still many temporary bridges.
In that situation, thanks to the support of the World Bank (WB), the project to build a community bridge has been implemented in Nghe An. Currently, this project is rebuilding the Tam Lien bridge, Tam Hop commune (Quy Hop) across the Dinh river. This bridge has been seriously degraded for a long time, losing almost all of its railings, making it extremely dangerous. People and vehicles passing through the Tam Lien bridge, Tam Hop commune (Quy Hop) can easily fall into the Dinh river. Transporting agricultural products such as sugarcane and cassava to the hamlets is very difficult.
This new bridge was built from the beginning of 2021, and is now over 85% completed. It is expected that this bridge will be put into use by the end of March 2022.

Ms. Tran Thi Tinh, a resident of Tam Hop commune, excitedly said: With this new bridge about to be put into use, in addition to making it easier for people to travel, we will also expand the area for growing agricultural products, and no longer have to worry about traders forcing down prices.
In Quynh Hung commune,Quynh Luuis implementing the construction of a bridge across the Thai River connecting the two communes of Quynh Hung and Quynh Dien (Quynh Luu district), which has been seriously degraded. The bridge is 40m long and 1m wide, and was built with contributions from the people of Quynh Dien and Quynh Hung communes in 2005.

In addition to the above project, in early August 2021, Quynh Luu district combined capital sources to build the above bridge worth 3.5 billion VND. Currently, the bridge across the Thai River passing through Quynh Dien and Quynh Hung communes has completed the construction of bridge piers, bridge girders, railings, and is implementing the construction of roads at both ends of the bridge, with progress reaching over 80%, and the bridge will be put into use by the end of February 2022.

According to the representative of the Quynh Luu District Project Management Board, in 2022, Quynh Luu District will continue to build two other weak bridges, including one bridge in Quynh Nghia Commune and one National Highway 1 bypass bridge passing through the communes of Quynh Dien, Quynh Hung, and Quynh Hong...
According to the report of Nghe An Department of Transport, from 2018 to now, with combined capital sources, such as World Bank (WB) capital (building people's bridges), New Rural Development capital, and Vietnam Road Administration capital, Nghe An has deployed dozens of people's bridges in the area built in difficult rural areas, which have relieved most of the travel needs of local people.
According to the plan in 2022, Nghe An will continue to build more than 10 other bridges in localities.
