Nghe An: ATM exploded at dawn, security room shook

(Baonghean.vn) -The explosion shattered the glass of the ATM booth, sending it flying more than 30 meters away, almost completely destroying the ATM. The security room next to it shook.

In the early morning of December 22, an explosion occurred at the ATM of the Vietnam Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Industry and Trade (Vietinbank), Cua Lo Town branch, located next to the gate of Nghe An College of Tourism and Commerce, located at 127 Sao Nam Street.

According to protectionNghe An College of Tourism and Commerce, at about 2:20 a.m., inWhile he was sleeping, he suddenly heard a loud explosion that shook the entire security room. When he went outside, he discovered that the ATM next to the security room had exploded, with broken glass flying everywhere.

Immediately after discovering the explosion, the security guard of Nghe An College of Tourism and Commerce called the bank and Nghi Thu Ward Police (Cua Lo Town).

The bank is currently working with authorities to investigate the cause and damage caused by the explosion.

It is known that each ATM on the market currently costs about 350 - 440 million VND, plus the cost of renting a place to install it, security cameras... an ATM booth costs about 500 million VND to install.
