In Chau Nhan commune, all hamlets 7, 8, 9 and Phu Xuan hamlet with 1,100 households are still completely isolated. Mr. Le Khanh Quang - Chairman of Chau Nhan Commune People's Committee said: The locality is located at the end of the source, half of the area is located next to Lam River, water from upstream is still pouring in continuously these days so the commune is still heavily flooded. Currently, the locality has mobilized tractors, boats and canoes to transport people and vehicles in and out of the area. Furniture and property of people in flooded areas continue to be transported to Ta Lam dike to prevent rising water. Mr. Phan Huu Dao - Chairman of Hung Loi Commune People's Committee is concerned: "The water level has decreased a little compared to yesterday, however, currently some hydropower plants are still releasing flood water, in 1-2 days it will be concentrated in the locality while the weather is still erratic, not knowing when the water will completely recede so that people can stabilize their lives..." In Vinh City, there are currently 3 heavily flooded areas including Vinh market, some blocks in Cua Nam ward and Ben Thuy ward.
