However, the goals and targets set for the province are very high, with great requirements and expectations. The province must strive to become the development center of the North Central region in many aspects, requiring Nghe An to develop faster than other provinces, towards self-balancing revenue and expenditure, contributing to the whole country. The province must have models and exemplars in the fields of economy, financial services - banking, education, health, science and technology, culture, society, national defense and security.
However, Nghe An is facing many difficulties and challenges: The province's investment resources are limited, but investment is not yet focused, and the order of priority is not entirely reasonable. Technical infrastructure is not yet complete. Seaports, airports, transportation systems, electricity, water, and information technology infrastructure have not yet met the requirements of attracting investment for development. In recent times, with the efforts of the entire political system and the people of Nghe An, Nghe An's economy and society have undergone many remarkable changes. However, in the spirit of seeking knowledge, the Provincial Party Committee and the Provincial People's Committee really want to listen to experiences and ideas to concretize the Party's major policies, to organize and implement Resolution 26 of the Politburo more effectively. This is an opportunity for the province to receive opinions from experts, to have more scientific and practical bases to develop visions, continue to plan policies and develop directions correctly; find breakthrough solutions, helping the province to grow quickly and sustainably.

The Provincial Party Secretary hopes that the forum will be held annually, becoming an important forum for researchers, veteran cadres, civil servants, businessmen, workers and people from all walks of life to contribute ideas for Nghe An's development. The province also organizes similar forums on Nghe An Newspaper and the provincial electronic information portal so that everyone can contribute ideas. This is also an opportunity for the province and party members to update domestic and foreign information to make appropriate adjustments in leadership and direction for the province's socio-economic development.
