Nghe An: 17 tigers illegally kept in a house discovered
(Baonghean.vn) - Dozens of police officers were mobilized to arrest several tiger breeding facilities in residential areas. Initially, 17 tigers were seized.
Initial information shows that after a period of investigation and monitoring, in the early morning of August 4, the Environmental Police Department of Nghe An Province Police coordinated with related units to catch a number of establishments red-handed.tiger captivityin a house in Do Thanh commune (Yen Thanh).

Initially, the authorities seized 17 adult tigers. Accordingly, in the morning of the same day, the above mentioned tigers were transported to Muong Thanh Dien Lam Ecological Zone (Dien Chau) for care and investigation.
"The police are continuing to investigate and handle the case," said a leader of the Provincial Police Department's Environmental Police Department.
Previously, on August 1, through professional measures to verify and collect related records and documents, Team 3 of the Environmental Police Department, Nghe An Provincial Police also coordinated with related forces to arrest 2 subjects driving a 7-seat car, with license plate 37A - 032.58, who were transporting 7 tigers without documents from Huong Son town, Huong Son district (Ha Tinh) through Nghe An for consumption.
