Nghe An: 31 party organizations discovered with signs of violations

(Baonghean.vn) - On the afternoon of July 26, the Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Committee held a conference to review the inspection and supervision work in the first 6 months of 2017 for cluster 2, including 8 districts: Tan Ky, Dien Chau, Anh Son, Do Luong, Thanh Chuong, Tuong Duong, Ky Son, Con Cuong in Anh Son district.

In the first 6 months of the year, Party committees at all levels inspected 1,178 Party organizations and 1,903 Party members. Through inspection, it was concluded that 1,827 Party members performed well, 88 Party members had shortcomings and violations.

Regarding the work of supervising party member organizations, in addition to assigning party committee members to perform regular supervision tasks in localities and fields, party committees at all levels have paid attention to implementing specialized supervision. As a result, 673 party organizations and 1,500 party members performed well, 31 party organizations with signs of violations and 79 party members with shortcomings and violations were discovered, and 17 organizations and 37 party members were transferred for inspection when there were signs of violations.

Party committees have disciplined 307 party members, including: 232 reprimands, 61 warnings, 8 dismissals, 6 party members expelled...

At the conference, delegates discussed issues such as: party members working far away have difficulty participating in party cell activities, handling complaints at the grassroots level, issues related to disciplining party members who violate the law, etc.

In addition, delegates also raised some experiences to do well in inspection and supervision work: it is necessary to strengthen close contact with the grassroots, proactively review and resolve complaints and petitions, maintain good review work among party members...

Concluding the conference, Chairman of the Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Commission Le Hong Vinh answered a number of recommendations and proposals, and at the same time oriented the key tasks in the coming time that localities need to pay attention to and direct, in order to improve the quality of inspection and supervision work in particular and Party building work in general.
