Nghe An: 4 people discovered violating alcohol concentration during the first day of general road traffic control

From 00:00 on May 15, 2020 to 14:00 on May 15, 2020, the Traffic Police of Nghe An Province organized 50 patrols with the participation of 240 officers. Accordingly, 488 vehicles were stopped and 242 vehicles were detected in violation.

Of which, there were 4 violations of alcohol concentration, 2 violations of drug regulations, 28 speeding violations, 12 wrong lane violations, 16 violations of stopping and parking regulations, 12 non-compliance with traffic light signals, 64 violations of helmet regulations, no driving license or driving license not issued by a competent authority, erasure 59; no vehicle registration or vehicle registration not issued by a competent authority, erasure 31; no or not carrying a valid Certificate of National Insurance of the motor vehicle owner 36; carrying more people than prescribed 2; violations of traffic safety and environmental protection regulations 19; other violations 46.

Accordingly, the authorities decided to fine 26 cases on the spot, collect 7,700,000 VND in fines, and detain 56 vehicles.

Also through patrolling and controlling, using professional measures, the Traffic Police force discovered and arrested 03 cases, 03 subjects, confiscated: 40 grams of Heroin; 6,802 cosmetic products of all kinds without documents proving their origin; 06 forest animals (weighing 40kg) that gave off a foul smell. Specifically:

At 06:45 on May 15, 2020, at Km 417 National Highway 1A in Dien Hong Commune, Dien Chau District, the Traffic Police Department of Dien Chau Traffic Police Station (Department PC08) arrested Hoang Cong C. (born in 1983, residing in Kim Son Town, Que Phong) and Mai Thanh L. (born in 1967, residing in Block 12, Quang Trung Ward, Vinh City) for the act of illegally transporting and trading drugs, seizing 40 grams of heroin. At 00:00 on May 15, 2020, at Km 417 National Highway 1A in Dien Hong Commune, Dien Chau District, the Traffic Police Department of Dien Chau Traffic Police Station (Department PC08) arrested Nguyen Hai N. (born in 1977, residing in Khe Sanh Town, Huong Hoa District, Quang Tri Province) for transporting goods of unknown origin. Thereby, 6,802 cosmetic products of various types were seized.No documents proving origin; 06 forest animals gave off a foul smell. The patrol team made a record and handed over the evidence to the authorities for handling according to regulations.

At 00:55 on May 15, 2020, at Km 423 National Highway 1A in Dien Ngoc Commune, Dien Chau District, the Traffic Police Department of Dien Chau Station (Department PC08) inspected a car 37A - 374.45 driven by Nguyen Thanh H. (born in 1972, residing in Le Mao Ward, Vinh City). Realizing that there were suspicious signs, the Traffic Police Department requested a quick drug test, which gave a positive result. Therefore, the Traffic Police Department requested the driver to go to a medical facility for testing, and the results showed that Nguyen Thanh H. had drugs in his body. The Traffic Police Department made a record and handled the case according to the law.
