Nghe An: Giant lingzhi mushroom discovered
(Baonghean.vn) - The giant lingzhi mushroom was just transported to his home by Mr. Pham Dinh Toan (Khe Bo village, Tam Quang, Tuong Duong) yesterday (November 15). This mushroom weighs 51.3 kg, is 1.2 m long, 0.5 m wide, and 0.65 cm high.

Mr. Toan said that he bought the mushroom from a forest ranger for nearly 30 million VND. It was found in the forest bordering Tuong Duong district and Laos. After finding the giant lingzhi mushroom, 5 people went into the forest and it took nearly a week to bring it home.

There are 7 branches on the trunk of this giant mushroom. Currently, Mr. Toan's family has only brought 2 branches home, the remaining 5 branches have not been able to be taken yet. Mr. Toan said: Of the 7 mushrooms mentioned above, the smallest one is as big as a pith helmet, while the largest one weighs 51.3 kg.
