Nghe An detected over 2,000 cases of speeding violations during the holidays
(Baonghean.vn) - Of the 2,068 violations, 456 were detected directly and 1,612 were fined through the camera system.
Through patrols and controls, from April 29 to May 3, the Traffic Police of Nghe An Province discovered and recorded 456 cases.speeding violations.
In addition, through the camera system for issuing fines, 1,612 cases were detected. On April 29 alone, the camera system recorded 632 cases.

According to Decree 100/2019/ND-CP as well as some amended and supplemented articles in Decree 123/2021/ND-CP, vehicle drivers will be fined from VND 800,000 to VND 12 million (depending on the speed) for cars; and fined from VND 300,000 to VND 5 million (depending on the speed) for motorbikes.
In addition to administrative fines, speeding vehicle owners may also have their driving licenses revoked for 1-4 months. At the same time, they will be prosecuted for criminal liability if they cause serious traffic accidents.

Step 2:Fill in the license plate information, vehicle type and enter the verification code then press the “Search” button. Note: The license plate number is written without accents, and does not distinguish between upper and lower case letters. For example, if the license plate number is 30A-123.45, the information will be filled in as: 30A12345
Step 3:After clicking the “Search” button, the website will display notifications from relevant authorities regarding the vehicle. In case the vehicle is fined, the website will provide full information about the time, location of the violation, the unit that detected the violation and the phone number of the handling unit.
In case the vehicle does not have a traffic violation, after searching the website will display "no results found" at the bottom.
