Nghe An discovered over 500 drivers violating alcohol concentration and drug use

From May 15 to June 14, the Traffic Police of Nghe An Province organized 3,138 patrols and controls on all routes, with 10,983 officers and soldiers participating.

25,442 vehicles were stopped and inspected, and 11,998 vehicles were found to be in violation. Of these, 594 were passenger vans, 7 were containers, 1,758 were trucks, 1,040 were cars, 8,031 were motorbikes, 161 were buses, and 407 were taxis.

Specifically, there were 524 cases of alcohol concentration violations; 55 cases of drug violations; 1,422 cases of speeding violations; 37 cases of entering prohibited areas, prohibited roads, and going against the direction of one-way roads; 379 cases of violating regulations on stopping and parking; 2,315 cases of violating regulations on helmets; 2,180 cases of not having a driver's license or a driver's license not issued by a competent authority; 1,008 cases of not having a vehicle registration or a vehicle registration not issued by a competent authority...

Accordingly, the authorities decided to fine 10,145 cases, transferring the fine to the State Treasury of VND 11,372,460,000. Revoked the right to use driving licenses in 1,039 cases, and temporarily detained 2,672 vehicles.

Also through patrolling and controlling, 84 cases and 84 subjects were discovered and arrested, 2 cakes and 117.568g of heroin were seized; 2 kg of crystal meth; 448.95 grams and 19,917 synthetic drug pills; 0.206 grams and 7 pink pills; 1.49 grams of grass drugs; 1 homemade gun; 4 motorbikes as evidence of theft; 1.2m³wood; 48.96m³soil, sand; 760 kg of animal products of unknown origin; 88 cattle, 14,100 poultry without quarantine papers; 11,642 cosmetic products; 2,795 phone components; 320 auto parts; 1,834 fans of all kinds; 510 liters of alcohol and a number of other fraudulent commercial items worth more than 800 million VND.

Coordinated with relevant forces to arrest 6 cases, 7 subjects, seized 4 heroin cakes; 2 kg of crystal meth, 4 kg of ketamine; 1,000 synthetic drug pills; 576.9g of pink meth and some commercial fraud items worth more than 850 million VND.
