Nghe An develops school football for 24 secondary schools

June 17,Vietnam Youth Football Training Center (PVF) works with Nghe An Department of Culture and Sports (VHTT) to implement a school football development program.
Attending the working session on PVF were Mr. Pascal Vaudequin - Deputy Technical Director and his colleagues; on the side of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, there was Ms. Nguyen Thi Thanh Huong - Deputy Director and representatives of specialized departments, Song Lam Football Joint Stock Company, Department of Education and Training, Vinh City Department of Education and Training and representatives of leaders of some schools that benefited from the project.

PVF and Nghe An province have reached an agreement on implementing the project to develop grassroots football and professional football for Nghe An province, including the school football development program from January 2019.
At this meeting, the two sides continued to discuss and agree on the initial steps of the program. Accordingly, PVF will sponsor facilities for 21 secondary schools selected by the province and proposed to implement phase 1. Each school will be supported with a goal set, 3 balls and some training equipment.
The schools receiving support in the first phase include: Ha Huy Tap (Vinh City), Quang Trung (Hung Nguyen), Anh Xuan (Nam Dan), Thanh Duong (Thanh Chuong), Doi Cung (Do Luong), Anh Son (Anh Son), Con Cuong Town (Con Cuong), Tuong Duong Ethnic Minority Boarding School (Tuong Duong), Muong Xen Town (Ky Son), Que Phong Ethnic Minority Boarding School (Que Phong), Hanh Thiet (Quy Chau), Tam Hop (Quy Hop), Quynh Di (Hoang Mai Town), Ky Son (Tan Ky), Hoa Hieu 1 (Thai Hoa Town), Hung Thinh (Nghia Dan), Trung Thanh (Yen Thanh), Quynh Hong (Quynh Luu), Nghi Tan (Cua Lo Town), Dien Hanh (Dien Chau) and Nghi Quang (Nghi Loc).

Accordingly, with statistics, the whole province currently has 558 primary schools and 427 secondary schools that have a need for physical education in the subject of Football. Based on the list of 21 schools in 21 districts, cities and towns in the province that benefit from the project phase 1.
At the meeting, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism proposed that PVF continue to select 3 more schools from each locality to benefit from this project to develop the group football movement, creating an environment for children to have the opportunity to exchange, compete, learn from each other and move towards building a school football network in the whole province in the next stages.
After accepting the proposals, Mr. Pascal Vaudequin shared his experiences, forms of building movements, training and competition methods to discover young football talents from teenagers and children in schools to bring high efficiency as European countries have done and committed to accompany and help Nghe An province in developing school football in the coming time in terms of investing in facilities, training, providing teaching materials...
Also within the framework of the working session, the delegation surveyed the actual facilities at Hung Hoa Primary School, Hung Loc Primary School (Vinh city), Long Lam Secondary School, and Lang Sen Primary School (Nam Dan district).
