Doctors performed surgery to replace the patient's artificial lens using the Phaco method (Phaco is a method that uses ultrasound energy to break up the lens, which is then sucked out through a small incision and replaced in the lens's capsule with an artificial lens).
Patients are also advised and instructed on how to use medication after surgery, how to care for and prevent some common eye diseases.
This is a practical activity with profound humanitarian meaning to contribute to sharing difficulties and reducing the burden on families and society.
