Nghe An approved Yen Thanh district to register to meet advanced new rural standards by 2025.
Nghe An Provincial People's Committee has just issued a decision approving Yen Thanh district to register to reach the new rural destination by 2025.
Accordingly, on September 10, 2024, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Van De signed Decision No. 2370/QD-UBND approving the addition of Yen Thanh district to register to reach the new rural destination in 2025.
The Provincial People's Committee assigns provincial departments, branches, and Yen Thanh District People's Committee to, based on their functions, tasks, and assignments according to Decision No. 1595/QD-UBND dated June 8, 2022 of the Provincial People's Committee, integrate programs, projects, and plans deployed in Yen Thanh District; guide, direct, and support localities to achieve the standards of advanced new rural district contents and criteria in 2025.
Up to now, Yen Thanh district has had 21/38 communes meeting the advanced new rural standards, 3 communes meeting the model new rural standards. According to the progress of building advanced new rural areas in the district, it is expected that by the end of 2024, the district will complete this goal./.
