Accordingly, the Do Luong I High School project, Do Luong district, will be newly invested in construction in Yen Son commune from 2023 to 2026.

Scale includes classroom block, total floor area of ​​about 7,635.6m². Administrative and learning service block, total floor area of ​​about 3,449.8m²_.Multi-function house, floor area about 500 m²_.

Other items: leveling; guard house; gate and fence; student parking lot; teacher parking lot; student restroom; transformer station; generator house; outdoor power supply and lighting system; overall water supply and drainage system; water tank, fire protection system; soccer field, volleyball, basketball, badminton; swimming pool; connecting corridor; yard, internal road...

The project has a total investment of 200 billion VND; of which the district budget and mobilized other legal capital sources are 100 billion VND; the provincial budget source from the Central source supports according to the annual career capital target and the source allocated after the annual education and training career; the source of increasing annual budget revenue is 100 billion VND.

The implementation of the project contributes to completing the facilities to serve the teaching and learning needs of teachers and students of Do Luong I High School, ensuring the enrollment plan and meeting the 2018 general education program; training human resources for Do Luong district and neighboring areas.

Previously, according to the Nghe An Department of Education and Training, in the 2022-2023 school year, Do Luong I High School currently has 39 classes, 1,685 students; total land use area of ​​15,111.6 m²; average land area 8.97 m²/student (according to regulations, the minimum average area is 10 m²/pupil).

The school currently has 39 classrooms, including a 3-storey building with 30 classrooms, built in 1992, each room has an area of ​​47m2.²2-storey school building with 9 rooms, built in 2011, each room area is 54m2² and 2-storey school building, 7 subject classrooms, built in 2008, each room area 42m2²2-storey office building, built in 2009, has 7 rooms.

In 2010, Do Luong I High School was recognized as a national standard school at level 1; however, up to now, it has not met the standard conditions on facilities (lack of some subject classrooms, classroom area does not meet standards, average land area per student does not meet the minimum) to be considered for re-evaluation of the school to meet national standards.

Meanwhile, based on the Education Development Plan for the 2022-2023 school year assigned by the Provincial People's Committee in Decision No. 1736/QD-UBND dated June 17, 2022 and the Do Luong District People's Committee assigning the Education Development Plan for the 2022-2023 school year to educational institutions in the area in Decision No. 1819/QD-UBND dated June 30, 2022, the number of students attending high schools in Do Luong district will gradually increase in the following years.

In particular, the enrollment plan for Do Luong High School I is about 2,000 students (equivalent to 45 classes). Therefore, the investment in building a new Do Luong High School 1 is extremely necessary and in line with the planning for educational development in the district.
