Nghe An: Deputy Party Secretary and Commune Health Station Chief were caught red-handed gambling
(Baonghean.vn) - 4 subjects, including 2 commune officials, were caught red-handed by Yen Thanh District Police for gambling.
Accordingly, at about 10:00 p.m. on February 17, 2019, criminal investigators of Yen Thanh District Police organized forces to catch a gambling case in hamlet 10B, Phuc Thanh commune.

Accordingly, the arrested subjects include Nguyen Van Luong (born in 1971), residing in Hamlet 9, Phuc Thanh Commune, currently holding the position of Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of the People's Council of Phuc Thanh Commune; Pham Hong Lam (born in 1965), residing in Hamlet 10B, Phuc Thanh Commune and currently Head of the Commune Health Station.

The two remaining suspects are Nguyen Nhuan Luong (born 1971) and Nguyen Khac Van (born 1960), both residing in Phuc Thanh commune. Evidence seized at the scene included 02 decks of cards, 01 plastic mat and a total amount of 15 million VND.
The case is currently being investigated and handled by Yen Thanh District Police according to the provisions of law.
