Nghe An disseminates knowledge of energy saving in schools
On December 6, at Quynh Thach Primary School, Quynh Luu District, Nghe An Center for Support and Consulting for Industrial and Commercial Development in coordination with Nghe An Electricity Company organized the "Energy Saving in Schools 2024" Contest.
Attending the contest were Mr. Le Duc Anh - Deputy Director of the Department of Industry and Trade; Mr. Hoang Minh Tuan - Director of the Center for Support and Consulting for Industry and Trade Development; Mr. Tran Dinh Tu - Director of Quynh Luu Electricity; along with all staff, teachers and nearly 1,000 students.
In the greeting round, each team had 10 minutes to present through skits, songs, chants, etc., introducing the team and energy-saving and efficient activities at school and home. In the multiple-choice round, the 3 teams provided basic knowledge about energy, how to save and efficiently use common household appliances.
In the talent competition, the teams demonstrated their skills in mobilizing and propagating to the community about using energy economically and effectively, protecting the environment, or giving messages and actions to praise and criticize the unreasonable use of energy, in protecting the environment in families, localities, units in the community through forms such as: Performing skits, fashion, singing, dancing, chanting, rhyming, speaking...
This activity aims to raise awareness and practical actions of the community on efficient energy use, environmental protection, contributing to building a green and sustainable society.
Energy is a valuable resource, playing an extremely important role in the socio-economic development of the country and the province. Recently, our Party and State have issued many legal policies to manage and encourage the use of energy economically and effectively.
In Nghe An province, every year, many activities and programs are also implemented to propagate and guide households, schools and businesses on how to use energy economically, safely and effectively.
In the context of increasingly depleted energy resources and the living environment facing many challenges, using energy economically and efficiently becomes an urgent task not only for agencies and organizations, but also the responsibility of each individual, especially the young generation - the future owners of the country.

Through this contest, we not only raise awareness about energy saving, but also encourage students to promote initiatives and find practical solutions to save energy right in their beloved school.
