Nghe An: Blockade 1 floor of apartment building, take samples of hundreds of people related to new Covid-19 infection case

On the morning of December 4, Nghe An recorded 37 new Covid-19 infections, including 2 community cases in Vinh City and Quynh Luu District.

In Vinh City, a Covid-19 infected case living in Gia Thinh Phat apartment building, block 11, Ben Thuy ward. The locality has locked down the 12th floor of this apartment building with 9 households, and taken samples of 18 people in the area on the morning of December 4.

Ben Thuy ward authorities said that the patient worked as a market employee for a dairy company and recently participated in market research and product promotion at several locations. The locality has identified 11 F1s of the patient living in Ben Thuy ward. F1s who came into contact with the patient during work and travel outside the ward are continuing to be traced.

InQuynh Luu district, the patient lives in block 9, Cau Giat town, is a 4A student at Cau Giat primary school. After the test results were available, with the motto "wide isolation - narrow blockade", the locality locked down 2 households and took samples from 160 people living in the surrounding area.

Because he is a student and has been studying directly at school, the number of F1s of the patient is relatively large. Currently, the locality has traced 50 F1s of this patient, including 41 F1s who are students of the same age, 4 teachers and 5 family members. The F1s were sampled for PCR testing this morning and were quarantined according to regulations.

Specific information of the new positive patient is as follows:

1. Elderly patients, female, born in 1993. Address: Block 11, Ben Thuy Ward, Vinh City. The patient had symptoms of cough and fatigue, so on December 3, the patient went to Vinh Tan Ward Health Station for a rapid test with a positive result. After that, the patient's sample was taken and sent to CDC for a positive confirmation result. Currently, the patient has symptoms of cough, fatigue, loss of taste.

2. NYN patient, female, born in 2012. Address: Block 9, Cau Giat Town, Quynh Luu. The patient had symptoms of fever and cough at home. On December 3, her family took her to the medical station for examination, where she was tested rapidly and the result was positive. Then, her sample was sent to Quang Khoi General Hospital for confirmation. Currently, the patient has symptoms of fever and cough.
