Nghe An thoroughly grasps and disseminates the 2024 Land Law and measures to implement the Law on Beliefs and Religions
On the afternoon of October 23, the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Nghe An province held a conference to disseminate and implement the 2024 Land Law and Decree 95/2023/ND-CP dated December 29, 2023 of the Government on the implementation of the Law on Belief and Religion.
The conference took place on October 23-24, with more than 150 delegates attending, including representatives of socio-political organizations of the province; representatives of the Democracy - Law Committee of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee; representatives of the Standing Committee of the Fatherland Front Committee at all levels, the People's Inspectorate and the Community Investment Supervision Committee.

Speaking at the opening of the conference, comrade Truong Thiet Hung - Vice Chairman of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee affirmed: The dissemination and implementation of the 2024 Land Law and Decree 95/2023/ND-CP dated December 29, 2023 of the Government is extremely necessary at the present time. Therefore, the Conference Organizing Committee invited experts and experienced people related to law, land, religion, the People's Inspectorate and the Community Investment Supervision Board to inform delegates about these contents.

He hoped that the reporters would present the topics with enthusiasm and depth, and at the same time asked the delegates to seriously and fully absorb them to continue to propagate to the people to implement and apply them in work and life.
On the afternoon of October 23, delegates were informed about the new points of the Land Law (amended). The 2024 Land Law was passed by the National Assembly on January 18, 2024 at the 5th Extraordinary Session of the 15th National Assembly (after being discussed through 4 sessions of the National Assembly). The Land Law (Law No. 31/2024/QH15) consists of 16 chapters and 260 articles, of which 180/212 articles of the 2013 Land Law are amended and supplemented and 78 new articles are added.

In addition, delegates were also informed about "Basic contents of Decree 95/2023/ND-CP of the Government detailing a number of articles and measures for implementing the Law on Belief and Religion". After more than 6 years of implementing the Law on Belief and Religion and Decree 162/2017/ND-CP of the Government, in practice, a number of difficulties and problems have been revealed. The promulgation of Decree 95/2023/ND-CP contributes to concretizing and detailing the Law on Belief and Religion; overcoming a number of difficulties and problems in Decree 162, creating a legal corridor for unified implementation of State management of beliefs and religions.

It is expected that on the morning of October 24, delegates will listen to the topic "Organization and operation of People's Inspectorate at commune level and Community Investment Supervision Board". This is also an important content in the activities of the Front at the grassroots level.
