(Baonghean.vn) - That is the regulation in the Decision on livestock density in Nghe An province issued by the Provincial People's Committee. Accordingly, each locality will have a specific livestock density, but the maximum must not exceed 1 livestock unit/1 hectare of agricultural land.
The Provincial People's Committee has just issued Decision No. 28/2023/QD-UBND on regulating the farming density in Nghe An province until 2023.
Accordingly, the determinationlivestock densityof Nghe An province to 2030 based on the approved land use planning and plan to 2030, the province's livestock development plan for the period 2021 - 2030 and the ability to develop the total livestock herd based on actual conditions and future development orientation of each locality.
At the same time, ensure compliance with the provisions of Decree No. 13/2020/ND-CP of the Government detailing the Law on Animal Husbandry; depending on each locality, there will be a specific livestock density, but not exceeding 1 livestock unit/1 hectare of agricultural land.

The Provincial People's Committee assigns the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development to preside over and coordinate with departments, branches and localities to disseminate, guide, monitor, inspect and strictly manage livestock density in the province. Based on the livestock density specified in this decision, advise the Provincial People's Committee to direct livestock development work suitable for each locality.
The People's Committees of districts, cities and towns organize the implementation of livestock development on the basis of maximizing the potential and advantages of the locality and ensuring the regulations on livestock density. Every year, based on the results of livestock development, Nghe An will continue to develop plans, direct livestock development, and attract livestock investment projects.
Organizations and individuals engaged in livestock farming in the province shall base on the livestock development orientation and plan of the People's Committees of districts, towns and cities to organize livestock farming in accordance with the provisions of this Decision; strictly comply with the declaration to the People's Committees at the commune level about the species of livestock and the number of livestock herds according to the provisions of the Law on Veterinary Medicine.
