In the past time, the preparation for the election of deputies to the 15th National Assembly and People's Councils at all levels for the 2021-2026 term (hereinafter referred to as the election) in Nghe An province has been seriously and proactively deployed, ensuring the correct progress and plan. From now until the election day on May 23, 2021 is a critical period, determining the success of the election. In the face of the complicated developments of the Covid-19 epidemic, implementing Official Dispatch No. 633/CD-TTg dated May 18, 2021 of the Prime Minister on focusing on successfully organizing the election of deputies to the 15th National Assembly and People's Councils at all levels for the 2021-2026 term; The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested the People's Committees of districts, cities, towns, provincial departments, branches and sectors to uphold their sense of responsibility, focus highly on the election work and direct the good implementation of the following contents:

1. Department of Health:Regularly update, evaluate and forecast the Covid-19 epidemic situation in the province; proactively develop appropriate plans and solutions to promptly respond to situations serving the election, ensuring safety and effectiveness. Establish a permanent working group from May 20, 2021 until the end of the election to receive and respond to information related to medical work. Coordinate with the Department of Home Affairs and related departments, branches and localities to strengthen inspection and guidance on the good implementation of Covid-19 epidemic prevention and control work according to the direction of the Ministry of Health.
2. Department of Home Affairs:Closely coordinate with relevant departments, branches and localities to update the election situation; promptly report to the Steering Committee and the Provincial Election Committee to resolve difficulties, problems, unusual situations and issues arising during the election.
3. Department of Information and Communications, Provincial Radio and Television Station, Nghe An Newspaper:Continue to promote communication and mobilize voters to vote using various means and modern communication methods, with appropriate frequencies such as: social networks, loudspeaker systems of communes, wards and towns (especially in remote areas, ethnic minority areas). Direct news agencies and newspapers to increase accurate, creative and vivid information so that voters can fully exercise their rights and obligations on election day. Monitor and control information security well; direct timely rebuttal, prevention and handling of distorted information and wrong views on cyberspace about the election.
4. Provincial Military Command, Provincial Border Guard Command, Provincial Police:Continue to proactively deal with acts that destabilize political security, social order and safety, and sabotage the election. Strengthen measures to grasp the situation, assess, accurately forecast the plots and tricks of hostile and reactionary forces to ensure social order and safety, and ensure absolute safety for the election. Direct the police and military forces to strictly maintain the regime of command and combat readiness, and coordinate and support localities in the work of preventing and fighting the Covid-19 epidemic.

5. People's Committees of districts, cities and towns:Focus highly on leadership and direction in the key period from now until election day and the work of preventing and fighting the Covid-19 epidemic; promptly implement instructions from superiors on election work.
- Review all work to prepare thoroughly and ensure absolute safety for election day. Ensure conditions of facilities, technology and equipment serving election work.
- Have detailed and specific plans and scenarios for election day in the context of the complicated developments of the Covid-19 epidemic, especially for constituencies and polling stations that are quarantined due to the outbreak of the epidemic. Pay special attention to remote, border, island areas, ethnic minority areas, and areas with difficult and complicated religious situations. Have specific plans to prevent and combat natural disasters, floods, and fires on election day. Grasp the people's situation to promptly resolve arising issues.
