Nghe An issues telegram to respond to storm NALGAE
(Baonghean.vn) - This morning, October 29, with the forecast that storm NALGAE is getting stronger, Nghe An issued Official Dispatch No. 14/CD-VPTT to proactively respond.
The telegram stated: According to the forecast of the North Central Hydrometeorological Station, at 07:00 on October 29, the center of storm NALGAE was at about 13.9 degrees North latitude; 122.6 degrees East longitude, in the sea east of the central Philippines. The strongest wind near the center of the storm was level 10, gusting to level 12.
Forecast in the next 24 hours, the storm will move in the West Northwest direction, traveling 15-20km per hour, the strongest wind near the storm center is level 10, gusting to level 12 and entering the East Sea. Natural disaster risk level 3 in the East of the North and Central East Sea.

To proactively respond to the storm, the Standing Office of the Provincial Steering Committee for Natural Disaster Prevention, Search and Rescue and Civil Defense PCTT - TKCN and PTDS requested the Steering Committees for Natural Disaster Prevention, Search and Rescue of coastal districts, cities and towns; together with relevant departments, branches and units to immediately implement necessary measures.
Accordingly, it is necessary to closely monitor the storm's developments to notify owners of vehicles and captains of ships and boats (including transport ships) operating at sea of the location, direction of movement and developments of the storm so that they can proactively avoid, escape or not move into dangerous areas.
The dangerous area in the East Sea in the next 24 hours is determined from latitude 13.0-17.5 degrees North; east of longitude 116.5 degrees East (dangerous area is adjusted in forecast bulletins).
At the same time, organize monitoring and counting of ships and boats operating in the storm-affected area; strictly manage vehicles going out to sea; maintain regular communication with vehicle owners to promptly handle bad situations that may occur.
In particular, forces and means must be ready to carry out rescue work when situations arise.
Relevant units carry out work within the scope of assigned tasks. The North Central Hydrometeorological Station closely monitors, forecasts, warns, and promptly informs about storm developments to proactively deploy response measures.
