Nghe An: Ready to receive and quarantine Vietnamese citizens returning from abroad
(Baonghean.vn) - According to the plan, in the coming time, Nghe An will receive Vietnamese citizens who are abroad to return to the locality. These are citizens who have a necessary need to return to the country.
On the afternoon of July 2, Colonel Nguyen Ngoc Ha - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Commander of the Provincial Military Command, Deputy Head of the Provincial Steering Committee for Covid-19 Prevention and Control chaired and deployed a plan to organize the reception and medical quarantine of Vietnamese citizens from abroad entering Nghe An province via Vinh International Airport.
This is a task to implement Official Dispatch No. 540/CD-TTg dated April 21, 2001 of the Prime Minister on strengthening the management of organizing flights to bring Vietnamese people into the country, Official Dispatch No. 1576/QK-HC dated June 25, 2021 of the Military Region 4 Command on receiving,quarantine of citizens entering the countryvia Vinh International Airport.

To ensure the safety of receiving and organizing quarantine for Vietnamese citizens from abroad entering Nghe An via Vinh International Airport, with the motto of "4 on-site", the Provincial Steering Committee for Covid-19 Prevention and Control has directed the Provincial Military Command to coordinate with relevant departments, branches and sectors to conduct surveys of quarantine locations at military barracks, some hotels and restaurants in Vinh city and Cua Lo town, and coordinate with relevant departments, branches and sectors to do a good job of preparing to receive citizens.

Accordingly, these citizens will be transported to centralized quarantine locations for at least 21 days, tested at least 3 times according to regulations of the Ministry of Health. They will be isolated and monitored for at least 7 days at home or at their place of residence after completing the centralized quarantine period. For those in difficult circumstances, they will be isolated at military barracks; for other cases, they will be isolated at hotels, restaurants... all quarantine locations must ensure safety according to regulations of the Ministry of Health.

Regarding quarantine costs: Citizens must pay for food, accommodation, and living expenses (including disinfection and sterilization fees; protection, security, order, and other costs) according to the prices announced by hotels and restaurants (which have been surveyed and assessed by competent authorities) and other related costs according to Point c, Clause 2, Article 1, Resolution 16/NQ-CP of the Government; Citizens in difficult circumstances who are quarantined in military barracks do not have to pay accommodation fees but must pay other costs themselves according to Point b, Clause 3, Article 1, Resolution 16/NQ-CP of the Government.

Concluding the working session, Colonel Nguyen Ngoc Ha - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Commander of the Provincial Military Command, Deputy Head of the Provincial Steering Committee for Covid-19 Prevention and Control highly appreciated the direction and prevention of Covid-19 of agencies and units in the recent past. Implementing the direction of the Prime Minister, in response to the entry needs of Vietnamese citizens abroad who need to return home, Colonel Nguyen Ngoc Ha requested the Provincial Military Command's Covid-19 Steering Committee to closely coordinate with departments, branches, sectors and Vinh city, Cua Lo town to continue to do a good job of preparing and surveying suitable locations for quarantine. At the same time, reactivate existing quarantine areas, do a good job of preparing forces, technical equipment, medical supplies, and be ready to receive quarantined people when requested.
