(Baonghean.vn) - It is expected that Nghe An will issue a Project to arrange regular police officers to take on the position of commune police officers in the province in May 2019, which sets out specific goals, measures, and roadmaps for implementation in the province.

Information from Nghe An Provincial Police said that regular police have been arranged in 88 communes and towns in 20 districts, cities and towns with 272 comrades. Of which, the number of police officers assigned to the position of commune police chief is 39 comrades, deputy commune police chief is 25 comrades and police officers is 208 comrades.
In the report sent to the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, the Provincial Police said that, in the initial results, the Party Committee, the government and all classes of people agreed, supported, highly unified and created conditions in implementing the policy of arranging regular police to take on the position of commune police.
The security and order situation in the areas where regular police have been deployed is guaranteed and has clearly changed. The officers holding the position of commune police are carefully selected, have the capacity and work experience, so they can promote their role and make positive contributions to the work of ensuring security and order in the commune area.
The Provincial Police are actively coordinating with relevant departments, branches and sectors to advise the People's Committee of Nghe An province to develop and promulgate a Project on arranging regular police officers to take up the position of commune police officers in the province to proactively implement the Law on People's Public Security (amended) passed by the National Assembly in 2018 and effective from July 1, 2019, gradually removing difficulties and obstacles for district-level units in arranging jobs for commune police chiefs when sending regular police officers to communes.
The project is expected to be issued in May 2019, setting out specific goals, measures, and roadmap for implementation in the province.
On March 5, 2019, the Standing Committee of Nghe An Provincial Party Committee issued Directive No. 27-CT/TU on strengthening the arrangement of regular police officers to take on the positions of commune police.
