(Baonghean.vn) - On the afternoon of March 28, the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee continued to meet to listen to and give opinions on the implementation of the arrangement and conversion of agricultural and forestry companies.

At the meeting, the Provincial Party Standing Committee heard the equitization plan of 3 companies including: Nghe An Tea Development Investment Company Limited; Coffee Rubber Company Limited and 3/2 Agricultural Industry Company Limited.

Nghe An Tea Development Investment Company Limited currently has 8 member units, with a total land area assigned by the Provincial People's Committee for management and use of 4,303.64 hectares (re-measured data is 5,117.97 hectares). Of which, the tea growing area is 1,713.9 hectares; the contracted area is 4,472.36 hectares; the number of employees is 870 people, the total asset value is 62.6 billion VND. The unit proposed an equitization plan, with the State holding 35% of the shares.

Coffee Rubber Company Limited has 6 member units located in Nghia Dan district and Thai Hoa town. The total area assigned for management and use is 4,069.32 hectares; after review and measurement, it is 4,007.17 hectares.

Of which, the area of ​​perennial trees including rubber, coffee, and fruit trees is 3,546.07 hectares; the contracted area is 3,885.62 hectares. The number of employees is 2,011 people. The total value of assets is 58.3 billion VND. The unit proposed an equitization plan, with the State holding 35% of the shares.

3/2 Agricultural Industry One Member Co., Ltd. was assigned to manage and use 1,753.09 hectares; after reviewing and re-measuring the area, it was 1,925.92 hectares, of which the area of ​​perennial trees such as rubber, oranges, tea, etc. was 1,772.54 hectares. Number of employees: 504 people. Total asset value: 15.7 billion VND. The unit proposed an equitization plan, with the State holding 30% of the shares.

At the meeting, opinions focused on analyzing and clarifying the equitization project such as: land use plan, production and business, especially determining the proportion of State shares held in enterprises in the direction of controlling or non-controlling shares.

Concluding this content, the Provincial Party Secretary assessed that determining the equitization plan of the above 3 enterprises needs to be done carefully, with careful preparation, tight arguments, and thorough calculation of the contents.

Therefore, the Provincial Party Secretary suggested that the development of a project to arrange and renovate the above enterprises should be based on the province's general agricultural and forestry land use planning in conjunction with the land use plans of the three enterprises to have a land use strategy in the direction of arranging which part of the land is allocated to people for production and which part is allocated to enterprises for use according to the raw material area planning.

The Provincial Party Secretary also suggested that the development of the Project to reorganize and innovate these enterprises should draw practical experience from the implementation of equitization with enterprises in the same field such as Song Con Agricultural One Member Co., Ltd.

Along with that, in the process of drafting the project to reorganize and innovate these enterprises, it is also necessary to carefully study Resolution 112 of 2015 of the 13th National Assembly on strengthening the management of land originating from state-owned farms and forestry farms used by agricultural companies, forestry companies, forest management boards and other organizations, households and individuals to have a more convincing basis.

In addition to the above contents, the Provincial Party Secretary suggested that in the project to arrange and innovate these companies, there should be a specific project for each enterprise to serve as a clearer basis before submitting it to the Provincial Party Standing Committee for consideration in the coming time.
