Nghe An: Will support up to billions of dong for businesses investing in agriculture

At the regular meeting of the Provincial People's Committee in July 2019, the People's Committee of Nghe An province approved the draft regulations to support enterprises investing in Nghe An's rural agriculture. Specifically, enterprises will be supported to invest in many basic construction items and other conditions as follows:

The transformer station within the project fence supports 100 million VND, the power line outside the project fence: 110 million VND, the traffic road within the project fence: 100 million VND, the traffic road outside the project fence: 450 million VND, the factory from 700 million to 1 billion VND.

Nghe An also stipulates housing support for workers from 1 billion to 2 billion VND, clean water 100 million VND, waste treatment 2 billion VND, water pumps 1 billion VND, advertising costs, building brands of key provincial products 100 million VND, scientific research topics, copyrights, technology 200 million VND.

Also supports exhibitions, construction of net houses, greenhouses...

For support contents for each type of item and project not specified in this Decision, it shall be implemented according to the provisions of Decree No. 57/2018/ND-CP on mechanisms and policies to encourage enterprises to invest in agriculture and rural areas.

Nghe An is currently a province with many agricultural raw material areas and is in need of many businesses to invest in this field, especially in the field of agricultural, forestry and fishery processing. Specifying support conditions will attract more investment capital into rural agriculture.

From 2016 to 2018, Nghe An called for investment in 54 projects with a total investment of 50,482,782 billion VND; of which in 2018 alone there were 11 projects with a total investment of 587.55 billion VND.
