Every day, they have to face dust, noise and mud flowing from this factory.

On November 8, Nghe An Newspaper continued to have an article "People living miserably near Song Lam Cement Factory”reflecting that, since the Song Lam Cement Factory came into operation, hundreds of households are still facing the dust and noise of the factory. When it rains, mud flows from this factory down to residential areas, even into people's houses.

On November 20, 2018, Permanent Deputy Prime Minister Truong Hoa Binh requested the Chairman of Nghe An Provincial People's Committee to direct the province's functional agencies to urgently inspect and handle the environmental pollution situation in the area of ​​Song Lam Cement Factory and resolve the concerns and petitions of households in Bai Son commune, Do Luong district in accordance with the law; publicly announce the results of the handling and resolution so that people know and monitor the implementation.
