Nghe An will conduct a survey of English teacher capacity across the province.

Department of Education and Traininghas just issued a plan to survey the capacity of English teachers in general education and vocational training institutions in Nghe An province.

Accordingly, all English teachers in general education and continuing education institutions in Nghe An province will participate in the survey, except for teachers who have international certificates converted to meet the standards according to the regulations of the level of education (time is calculated within 5 years, from the time stated on the certificate); teachers with less than 24 months until retirement age, calculated from March 1, 2021.

The survey of English teacher capacity in general education and continuing education institutions aims to develop a training plan to meet teaching requirements according to regulations and the innovation of the 2018 General Education Program (GDPT 2018).

At the same time, it serves as a basis for selecting teachers.Englishhave good qualifications and capacity to be the backbone of the Nghe An Education and Training Sector.

To implement this content, the Department of Education and Training also requires schools and Departments of Education and Training to review the current situation of English teachers in general education and continuing education institutions in the whole province. In particular, general education and continuing education institutions are required to update information on English teacher competency certificates (according to Project NN 2020) on the ESQM regular training software. Announce the list of teachers who do not have to participate in surveys and training to obtain international certificates according to regulations.

Based on the statistical list, the industry will conduct a survey of English teachers in the whole province in Vinh city. The survey will be assigned to a unit with sufficient capacity and legal status to organize exams and issue international certificates. From these results, the Department will conduct training from 2021 to 2024 and organize exams to obtain international certificates.

According to the plan, it is expected that from August 1, 2021 to August 31, 2021, the Department will organize a survey for all high school English teachers and high school continuing education teachers.

From November 1, 2021 to November 30, 2021, the survey was conducted for all secondary school English teachers.

From March 1, 2022 to March 30, 2022, conduct a survey for all primary school English teachers.
