Nghe An will organize the race 'One determination - For a drug-free community'
Towards the 2025 Drug Prevention and Control Action Month and in response to the National Drug Prevention and Control Day on June 26, Nghe An province will organize a race called "Shared determination - For a drug-free community".
This is a sporting event with profound propaganda meaning, calling on the community to join hands in building a healthy, drug-free lifestyle.
The opening, closing and award ceremonies will be held at the Nghe An Provincial Cultural Center on Sunday morning, June 29, 2025. After the opening ceremony, delegates and people will participate in a 1km run, starting from the launching ceremony area to the Provincial Party Committee gate on Truong Thi Street.

At the same time, the Cross Country race will be held on Lenin Street, with two distances of 5 km and 10 km for male and female athletes.
The Organizing Committee will award first, second and third prizes for each category according to gender, along with certificates, medals and cash prizes. For the 5km distance, the first prize is worth 4 million VND, the second prize is 3 million VND and the third prize is 2 million VND. For the 10km category, the prizes are 4.5 million, 3.5 million and 2.3 million VND respectively.
The “One determination - For a drug-free community” race is one of the key activities in the 2025 Drug Prevention and Control Action Month of Nghe An province, organized with the coordination of many units such as the Department of Culture and Sports, Provincial Police, Provincial Youth Union, Department of Health and related agencies and departments. The event promises to create a strong influence in the community, contributing to the formation of a healthy, positive and drug-free living environment.
