(Baonghean.vn) - The implementation of the Project to assess the competitiveness of departments, branches and localities in the province (DDCI) aims to create competition and emulation in the quality of management at the department, branch and local level, thereby creating motivation for drastic administrative reform and creating a favorable environment for investment, production and business activities.
On the afternoon of October 18, under the chairmanship of Mr. Le Ngoc Hoa - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, the Provincial People's Committee had a working session with the Department of Science and Technology, relevant departments and branches to listen to and give opinions on the Project: Assessing the level of satisfaction of people and organizations with the quality of public services of state administrative agencies and the Project to assess the competitiveness of departments, branches and localities in the province.

The Project to Assess the Satisfaction Level of People and Organizations with the Quality of Public Administrative Services of State Administrative Agencies in the Province for the 2020-2025 Period aims to: Measure the satisfaction level of people and organizations with the quality of public administrative services in order to objectively assess the quality of public administrative service provision by state administrative agencies.
Next, the Provincial People's Committee also listened to and gave opinions on the Project to Assess the Competitiveness of Departments, Branches, Sectors and Localities in the Province (DDCI). Accordingly, the scope of the project research is enterprises, cooperatives, individual business households operating, producing and trading, and implementing investment projects in Nghe An province. The subjects assessed by DDCI are departments, branches, sectors and People's Committees of districts, towns and cities of Nghe An province.
The index set to assess the competitiveness of departments, agencies, branches and local authorities includes 08 component indexes: Transparency and access to information; Dynamism of departments, agencies, branches and local authorities; Time costs; Informal costs; Fair competition; Business support; Legal institutions; Role of leaders. Synthesize the scores of the component indexes to classify them into the following categories: Good, Fair, Average, Weak.

Concluding the meeting, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Le Ngoc Hoa affirmed that through evaluating the content and comments of the delegates on the two projects, the Project to assess the satisfaction level of people and organizations with the quality of public administrative services of state administrative agencies in the province should be temporarily suspended, because the Public Administration Service Center will soon come into operation.
The Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee assigned the Department of Science and Technology and the consulting unit to coordinate with the Department of Home Affairs to advise the Provincial People's Committee on the project's assessment index contents for inclusion in the assessment at the Public Administration Service Center.

Regarding the Project on assessing the competitiveness of departments, branches, and localities in the province (DDCI), the Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee agreed on the contents of the project. At the same time, he assigned the Department of Science and Technology to receive the opinions of the delegates to review the content, agree on the set of assessment criteria, and complete the content to submit the project at the upcoming meeting of the Provincial People's Committee.
