Many martyrs have no relatives to worship, and most of the surviving relatives are old and weak, making it very difficult to visit, pay respects, and offer incense to martyrs at cemeteries.
The whole province has 116 works honoring martyrs, including 1 martyr cemetery managed by the provincial level, 21 martyr cemeteries and martyr monuments managed by the district level, and 94 cemeteries, monuments, and martyr steles managed by the commune level.
Currently, Nghe An province does not have a memorial for martyrs of the province as a common house to commemorate martyrs of Nghe An and martyrs from other localities who sacrificed for the cause of national liberation, protecting the Fatherland, and for noble international duty.
