Nghe An: Will test and screen for Covid-19 for young men joining the army

On the morning of February 22, the Nghe An Provincial Military Command held an online conference to deploy the military transfer and reception work in 2021. Attending the conference were comrades in the Party Committee Standing Committee, the Chief of the Provincial Military Command and 22 connecting points (including the central command point, 19 connecting points in districts, towns and cities and 2 connecting points in Mat Island and Ngu Island).

In 2021, Nghe An was assigned by the Government to recruit 3,350 citizens, of which 3,104 people participated in military service and 246 people participated in police service. After finalizing the number of soldiers with the receiving units, the Provincial Military Command directed the Military Commands of districts, cities and towns to strengthen citizen management and issue call-up orders.join the army, organize visits, encourage, give gifts, grasp the thoughts and aspirations of citizens and families, especially citizens and families in difficult circumstances...

At the conference, delegates discussed and raised difficulties and problems. Some young people and their families asked to postpone their military service in 2021...

Concluding the working session, Colonel Nguyen Ngoc Ha - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Military Service Council, Commander of the Provincial Military Command requested agencies and units to continue promoting propaganda work to all people to seriously implement the 2015 Law on Military Service, guiding documents on military recruitment in 2021, and the Resolution of the Provincial Military Party Committee on improving the quality of military recruitment.

At the same time, continue to review and grasp the quantity and quality of citizens who have been called up for military service and reserve citizens of the province, and be ready to call when ordered; organize visits and give gifts, grasp the thoughts and aspirations, promptly encourage citizens to feel secure to join the army and do a good job of military rear policy work.
