Nghe An is bustling with the festival 'Youth Union with traffic safety'
(Baonghean.vn) - The series of activities "Youth Union with traffic safety" organized by Nghe An Provincial Youth Union aims to contribute to the correct implementation of regulations when participating in traffic; at the same time, we hope that all citizens will participate in traffic responsibly, ensuring safety for themselves and for society.
Respond to peak monthTraffic safety(ATGT) 2020, on the afternoon of September 23, in Hung Nguyen District, the Standing Committee of Nghe An Provincial Youth Union coordinated to organize the festival "Youth Union with traffic safety" with the theme "If you drink alcohol, do not drive".
Attending the festival were comrade Hoang Dinh Tuan - Deputy Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Commission; representatives of the provincial police and Hung Nguyen district leaders. The festival was attended by more than 1,000 union members in Hung Nguyen district.

Traffic accidents are currently a burning issue for the whole society. The consequences of traffic accidents not only affect each individual and each family but are also one of the major obstacles to the socio-economic development of the country and each locality.
2020 was chosen as the Year of Traffic Safety with the theme "Do not drive if you drink alcohol”; to raise awareness among union members, youth and people about obeying traffic laws, preventing traffic accidents and culture in traffic participation.

Responding to Traffic Safety Month 2020, right from the beginning of the new school year, the Provincial Youth Union directed 100% of units in the whole province to restart the model of safe and civilized school gates and continue to take on green, clean and beautiful self-managed roads.

“Traffic accidents not only cause serious damage to the economy and society but also leave consequences for the victims. The series of activities “Youth Union with traffic safety” aims to contribute to the correct implementation of regulations when participating in traffic; at the same time, we hope that all citizens will participate in traffic responsibly, ensuring safety for themselves and for society” - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Youth Union Pham Van Toan shared.

With the spirit of youth volunteerism, the Provincial Youth Union leaders requested that all levels of the Youth Union and young union members set an example in carrying out the campaign.“Youth with traffic culture", seriously implement the regulation "Do not drive after drinking alcohol".
Accordingly, each member and youth will be an active propagandist to convey their thoughts, awareness and actions to those around them, so that traffic safety messages can be widely spread and imbued in young people and all classes of people; actively contributing to reducing traffic accidents and building a civilized and safe society when participating in traffic.

The series of activities "Youth Union with Traffic Safety" in 2020 was organized by the Provincial Youth Union Standing Committee at 4 locations, including Hung Nguyen, Thanh Chuong, Quynh Luu and Yen Thanh districts. In order to demonstrate the determination of the Youth Union chapters at all levels in the province, in contributing to joining hands with all levels and sectors to minimize traffic accidents.

During the festival, the Provincial Youth Union visited and presented gifts to some locations where civilized and safe school gates were built and witnessed the installation of signs on self-managed roads in Hung Nguyen, Thanh Chuong, Yen Thanh, and Quynh Luu districts. The Provincial Police sponsored 50 standard helmets for students in Hung Nguyen, Yen Thanh, Quynh Luu, and Thanh Chuong.
