According to the leader of the Market Management Department, regarding the incident where people reported that a group of people wearing market management uniforms conducted an inspection and then took 6 million VND from Mr. Vi Van Hung - a traditional medicine trader in Noong village, Ngoc Lam commune, Thanh Chuong district, on January 4, 2019, the Department temporarily suspended 4 officers of the Market Management Team.
The reason for the suspension was because four officers of Market Management Team No. 8 violated industry regulations.
First, he did private work during his working time. Second, he used a public vehicle for private work. Third, he wore the official uniform to conduct transactions and sales.

According to this person, the suspension period for the 4 officers of Market Management Team No. 8 is 15 days. “In the immediate future, the Department will temporarily suspend the work and review the violations of the 4 officers to take disciplinary action. As for whether they received money or not, the police are currently investigating to clarify. If there is any act of receiving money, the Department will take a higher disciplinary action…” - this leader affirmed.
Previously, Mr. Vi Van Tuyen - Secretary of the Party Committee of Ngoc Lam Commune (Thanh Chuong) said, "People reported that at the end of December 2018, a group of people wearing uniforms similar to those of the Market Management Department, driving a car but far from people's houses, inspected some households specializing in treating diseases with traditional medicine. Although the households explained that they did not have a license because their family only operated in dispensing traditional medicine to help local people, this group of people made a record and threatened to enforce the fine, so the households accepted the fine. We think this is a fraudulent act and have reported it to the authorities and propagated to people to raise their vigilance."
After receiving the above information, Thanh Chuong district authorities have propagated and warned people and requested the police to intervene and investigate to clarify the matter.
