Nghe An increased 14 ranks in the 2022 High School Graduation Exam

(Baonghean.vn) - This is an outstanding result of Nghe An's education sector in the 2022 High School Graduation Exam after many solutions to improve the quality of comprehensive education.

In the 2022 high school graduation exam, Nghe An has nearly 37,000 candidates taking the exam and is the province with the 4th largest number of candidates in the country. Compared to many other provinces and cities, teaching and learning in Nghe An is more difficult, especially in 10 mountainous districts.

According to statistical results, up to this point, Nghe An ranked 20th out of 63 provinces and cities nationwide (including independent candidates) with an average score of 6.44 points. This result increased 14 places compared to 2021 (ranked 34th) and increased 24 places compared to 2020 (ranked 44th).

Notably, many of these subjects have made remarkable progress.

Specifically:

Mathematics ranked 34th in the country, the average score of the whole province was 6.319 (ranked 36th in 2021, average score 6.470).

Literature ranked 7th in the country, average score 7.209 (ranked 6th in 2021, average score 7.023).

Physics ranked 19th in the country, with an average score of 6.942 (ranked 28th in 2021, with an average score of 6.606).

Chemistry ranked 10th nationwide, with an average score of 7.088. With this score, the Chemistry exam score increased 22 places compared to 2021 (ranked 32nd, with an average score of 6.654).

Biology ranked 42nd in the country, with an average score of 4.947 (ranked 59th in 2021, with an average score of 5.163)

History ranked 22nd nationwide, with an average score of 6.413. Nghe An's History score also increased significantly, up 27 places compared to 2021 (ranked 49th nationwide in 2021, with an average score of 4.763).

Geography ranked 27th in the country, average score 6.693 (ranked 35th in 2021, average score 6.939).

Civic Education ranked 36th in the country, with an average score of 7.968 (ranked 41st in 2021, with an average score of 7.968).

English ranked 47th nationwide, with an average score of 4.557, up 5 places compared to 2021 (ranked 52nd, average score of 4.966).

Previously, answering Nghe An Newspaper before the High School Graduation Exam, Mr. Thai Van Thanh - Director of Nghe An Department of Education and Training said: This year, Nghe An organized the signing of educational quality commitment between principals of high schools across the province, specialized departments and required schools to improve the quality of mass education. This is also the school year that Nghe An implemented the model of ensuring educational quality in schools and had many innovations in teaching and learning direction.

The head of the Department of Education and Training also said: In order for teaching to be effective, the Department requires principals to be responsible for the results of the exams. If the exam scores are lower than previous years and do not meet the set goals, the school principal and specialized departments must be responsible.

With the remarkable progress in this school year, the Director of the Nghe An Department of Education and Training also said: The implementation of the education quality assurance model is also to thoroughly grasp and implement the Prime Minister's viewpoint that is real learning, real exams and real talents. Thereby, it aims to accurately assess the results of students in the learning process, semester exams and evaluate output results.

From the beginning of this school year, Nghe An also set a goal of improving its ranking from 34 to 28 in the 2022 High School Graduation Exam.
