Nghe An province is providing training on religious affairs for key officials and specialized religious affairs officers.
On the morning of October 10th, the Nghe An Department of Ethnic Minorities and Religions, in coordination with the Provincial Police, organized a training conference on religious affairs for 2025.
Attending the Conference were members of the Provincial Party Standing Committee: Bui Thanh An - Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Colonel Dinh Viet Dung - Director of the Provincial Police;
Attending the conference was Comrade Vi Van Son - Director of the Department of Ethnic Minorities and Religions.;Representatives from the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee; the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department; the Provincial Police Department; the Provincial Military Command; the Religious Affairs Department - Department of Ethnic Minorities and Religion; representatives from provincial departments and agencies; Party Secretaries and Chairmen of People's Committees of communes and wards; Heads of Culture and Social Affairs Departments under the People's Committees of communes and wards; Heads of Police and Deputy Heads of Police (in charge of security) of communes and wards.

In his remarks at the conference, Comrade Bui Thanh An - Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee - requested that: Leaders and officials participating in the training should recognize this as an opportunity to update their knowledge on religious affairs; exchange experiences, and resolve difficulties and obstacles encountered in the past.

For the comrades in the training course organizing committee, it is necessary to strictly manage and organize the training in accordance with the regulations and procedures of the conference and the protection of state secrets. The lecturers should guide and resolve difficulties and shortcomings in practical work, thereby helping to improve religious affairs in the province and better serve the requirements of future work.

During the one-session training, participants gained an understanding of the religious situation in Vietnam and its impact on religious affairs in Nghe An province; some experiences in resolving religious-related issues; new points of Government Decree 95/2023/ND-CP detailing some articles and measures for implementing the Law on Beliefs and Religions; and Government Decree 124/2025 regulating the decentralization and delegation of authority; and the delineation of jurisdiction.two levels of local governmentin the field of beliefs and religions…
