Currently, improving the quality of treatment for patients with blood diseases is being focused on and invested in by Nghe An province. Nghe An Hematology and Blood Transfusion Center has been invested in by Nghe An province, with equipment and infrastructure capable of 200 hospital beds and 150,000,000 units of blood/blood products/year; meeting TCVN ISO 9001:2015/ ISO 9001:2015 standards.

The center is oriented to become a specialized hospital of Hematology and Blood Transfusion, including a centerblood transfusionarea with complete scale, gradually modernized; to meet the needs of specialized examination and treatment at the end of the North Central region.

Nghe An and Ha Tinh provinces are also promoting the establishment of a common regional blood transfusion network. The network helps the reception, supply, and regulation of blood and blood products in the two provinces to be more timely, economical, and effective. And most importantly, the two provinces will have a large blood bank, bringing benefits to the people of the two provinces./.
