Nghe An: Releasing rare turtles into the sea

On the morning of June 8, the People's Committee of Nghi Hai Ward (Cua Lo Town) coordinated with Nghe An Fishing Port, Cua Lo Ben Thuy Port Border Guard Station, and Cua Hoi Border Control Station to release a precious turtle back into the ocean.

Previously, at around 8:00 p.m. on June 7, while scooping up crabs in the Cua Hoi Fishing Port area, Mr. Tran Van Trung, residing in Hai Thanh block, Nghi Hai ward, Cua Lo town, caught a rare hawksbill turtle.
The turtle weighs about 7kg, has a total body length of 50cm and a width of 35cm.
After hearing the news that Mr. Tran Van Trung caught a rare turtle, many traders came to inquire and offered a very high price, but he still did not sell, waiting for the authorities to come and handle it.

Upon receiving the news, leaders of Nghi Hai Ward People's Committee were present in time, and coordinated with Nghe An Fishing Port, Cua Lo Ben Thuy Port Border Guard Station, and Cua Hoi Border Control Station to release the sea turtle back into the ocean.
