Nghe An participates in Supply and Demand Connection between Ho Chi Minh City and other provinces and cities

The conference was attended by Hoang Anh Tuan, Deputy Director of the Domestic Market Department, Ministry of Industry and Trade; Phan Thi Thang, Vice Chairman of Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee; leaders of provinces and cities. Nghe An delegation led by Director of the Department of Industry and Trade Pham Van Hoa participated in the program.

The 2022 Supply-Demand Connection Conference between Ho Chi Minh City and other provinces and cities is an annual activity, held for the 11th time with the participation of more than 42 provinces and cities across the country, displaying goods at 500 booths; many localities organized lively spaces, introducing products, services, and unique local culture.

The program aims to create maximum favorable conditions for buyers and sellers to connect directly, reduce intermediary costs, promote the circulation of goods, and contribute to the formation of sustainable supply chains. Thereby, finding sources of high-quality goods at reasonable prices nationwide to supplement the supply to stabilize the market during the Lunar New Year 2023; at the same time, supporting businesses in the City and provinces and cities to find output and develop markets for the strengths of each locality.

At the conference, delegates focused on discussing solutions to accelerate the process of combining direct and online distribution methods, contributing to modernizing the distribution system; promoting the application of e-commerce in the business community of production, supplying domestic and export markets with the active participation of the Vietnam E-commerce Association, major e-commerce platforms such as Tiki, Shopee...

The program also organizes discussions and dialogues with e-commerce businesses, introducing methods of participating in e-commerce platforms and transactions in the digital environment. At the same time, it focuses on supporting the connection of consumption of key products, products and services voted as the City's Golden Brand, consumer industrial products, OCOP products, regional specialties, agricultural products that meet safety standards and have traceability...

This year's Supply-Demand Connection Conference also connects supply-demand connection activities of provinces and cities such as Dong Thap Specialty Goods Week, OCOP Product Introduction Week - An Giang Province's typical products... creating a continuous chain of connection activities of many localities.
