Nghe An participates in the 2017 national family sports tournament

(Baonghean.vn) - From August 1 to August 8, in Phan Thiet city, Binh Thuan province, Nghe An participated in the 2017 National Family Table Tennis and Badminton Tournament organized by the General Department of Sports and Physical Training in coordination with the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Binh Thuan province.

This tournament has 25 provinces and cities participating, of which Nghe An delegation has 5 families participating with the following contents: Table tennis: couples up to 35 years old; couples 36 - 45 years old; mother - daughter 46 - 55 years old; father - son over 55 years old; Badminton: couples up to 35 years old; couples 46 - 55 years old; father - son 46 - 55 years old.

Participating in the tournament is to respond to the campaign "All people exercise following the example of great Uncle Ho", with the goal of "Building healthy, prosperous, equal, progressive, happy and sustainably developed families".

The tournament is also an opportunity for families to practice, compete, exchange, learn and share experiences in building a cultural family. At the same time, it strengthens propaganda and mobilization work so that each person can raise their awareness and actions about the role of the family in society.

Through this tournament, the Nghe An province's sports sector is also an opportunity to discover talented athletes, from which to plan to improve their performance and prepare forces to participate in major sports family tournaments in the region and the world.
