Nghe An participates in the Food Festival and promotes eel dishes in Hung Yen province
(Baonghean.vn) - On April 17, the opening ceremony of the Hung Yen Culinary Festival, the first time in 2024, took place at Hung Yen Museum.
Attending the Hung Yen Culinary Festival, the first time in 2024, is one of the contents to implement the Cooperation Program on tourism development between the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Hung Yen and the Department of Tourism of Nghe An for the period 2023 - 2025. Specifying the contents according to the Memorandum of Understanding No. 01-BB/TUNA-TUHY dated March 30, 2023 of the Nghe An Provincial Party Committee and the Hung Yen Provincial Party Committee on cooperation between Nghe An and Hung Yen provinces for the period 2023-2025.
The festival takes place from April 17 to April 19, with a space to display, introduce and promote unique culinary dishes from the three regions of North, Central and South, and gathers domestic artisans, experts and culinary chefs to participate in promoting the culinary dishes.

The festival has a scale of over 60 booths, including spaces: Cuisine of the provinces of Hung Yen, Nghe An, Ninh Binh, Hai Duong, Hai Phong, Ha Nam, Hanoi, Bac Ninh, Vinh Phuc, Nam Dinh, Son La, Yen Bai ..., space to introduce typical OCOP products; introduce drinks, soft drinks of all kinds; introduce destinations; display beautiful photos of Hung Yen - Nghe An tourism ...

Participating in the Food Festival, in addition to displaying and promoting local publications, items and products, Nghe An also participates in introducing tourist destinations and displaying beautiful photos of Nghe An tourism.
On this occasion, Nghe An Department of Tourism organized a performance of eel dishes (eel soup, stir-fried eel with lemongrass and chili, eel vermicelli, grilled eel...) performed by culinary artist Hoang Van Tien. This activity attracted the attention of the Organizing Committee and many people and tourists from all over the world. After the performance, the leaders of the Department of Tourism and the artists invited the leaders of Hung Yen province and people and tourists to experience the dishes made from eel and received high praise from the processing process to the quality of the dishes.
