Of which: Production and distribution of electricity, gas, hot water, steam and air conditioning increased by 11.35%; processing and manufacturing industry increased by 10.23%; water supply, waste and wastewater management and treatment activities increased by 7.44%; mining industry decreased by 8.38% over the same period.

In February, products in the manufacturing and processing industry and production and distribution of electricity, gas, hot water, and steam increased due to consumer demand during Tet: Packaging reached 3,600 bags, up 63%; animal feed reached 9,249 thousand tons, up 33.41%; cement is estimated at 337 thousand tons, up 32.16%; sugar is estimated at 24,400 tons, up 11.11%; processed milk is estimated at 19,734 liters, up 7.33%; commercial electricity is estimated at 220 million kWh, up 4.27%; electricity production is estimated at 162 million kWh, up 12.35%...

Some products decreased due to shorter production time, low consumption market, and passive input materials, so production output was lower compared to February 2018: Fibers of all kinds are estimated at 936 tons, down 26.36%; refined tin is estimated at 14.4 tons, down 35.24%; stone powder is estimated at 40,297 thousand tons, down 11.02%; NPK fertilizer is estimated at 2,669 thousand tons, down 5.66%; corrugated iron and steel products of all kinds are estimated at 59,904 thousand tons, down 8.41%...

In the first two months of 2019,Industrial production index increased by 9.19% compared to the first two months of 2018, of which: Processing and manufacturing industry increased by 9.74%; production and distribution of electricity, gas, hot water, steam, and air conditioning increased by 8.75%; water supply, waste and wastewater management and treatment activities increased by 6.76%; mining industry increased by 0.44%.
