Nghe An changes location to honor U23 players.

Hundreds of cars are ready to welcome the U23 players for a parade in Vinh City.
(Baonghean.vn) - People from Do Luong and Yen Thanh districts will also be present at Vinh airport to welcome the U23 heroes back home.
At noon on January 30th, the organizing committee of the program honoring the U23 Vietnamese football player from Nghe An decided to move the venue from the Nghe An Provincial Labor Culture House to Ho Chi Minh Square in order to better serve the large number of fans.

According to the schedule, at 7 PM, after welcoming and presenting flowers to the players at Vinh Airport, the fan club and supporters will organize a parade for the players along Lenin Avenue and Truong Thi Street.
Then, at 8 PM, a ceremony honoring the players will be held at Ho Chi Minh Square.

The SLNA Supporters' Club also announced that fans should gather at the Provincial Labor Culture House at 6:30 PM to go to the airport to welcome the team.

In the recently successful Vietnam U23 team, there are 4 players from Nghe An province, including 2 players from Song Lam Nghe An Club: Midfielder Phan Van Duc (number 14), Midfielder Pham Xuan Manh (number 2), from Yen Thanh; Striker Nguyen Cong Phuong, number 10 (Hoang Anh Gia Lai Club) from Do Luong; Goalkeeper Nguyen Van Hoang (Saigon Club) from Tan Ky.
The three players Cong Phuong, Van Duc, and Xuan Manh were all discovered at the Nghe An Newspaper Cup Youth Football Tournament. All three were outstanding players of the tournament, helping Do Luong and Yen Thanh win the championship and finish as runners-up in the 2005-2006 and 2007-2008 seasons, respectively.
On this occasion, Nghe An Newspaper will also reward three players who have progressed through the Nghe An Newspaper Cup Youth and Children's Football Tournament.
